All,
Over at David Sirota there a post which talks about the Democratic candidates for the Sentate from Ohio. Within the post, there is a link to an article by David Sirota himself published in the American Prospect Online. I would recommend everyone to read it here. He makes a great case as to why we should try to avoid a nasty primary fight between both candidates. As we all know, both Paul Hackette and Sherrod Brown are thinking about running for the senate seat.
Furthermore, Sirota goes on to highlight the advangates for each candidate. Interestinlgy, the candidate that has the most advantages is Sherrod Brown. Yes, we all wanted Paul Hackett to have the advantages, but there is good news. Sirota suggests we send Brown to senate since he has the strongest fundraising ability and we send Hackett to the House thus making a double gain. Most importantly, I want to point out that Sirota's line of reasoning is in line with our very own
Markos Moulistas Zuniga, founder of Daily Kos. I have the quote to back my point up:
"And Markos Moulitsas Zúniga, who runs the biggest left-leaning blog of all, Dailykos, has said "it might be a good idea for Hackett to stand down" now that Brown is running."
Fellow Kossacks, I recommend reading the article and passing this information to everyone you know. I also would like to give kudos to Kos for being highly influential. Let me know what you all think.
